Micah Parsons, Cowboys’ rookie pass rusher, wants to be his own person.
Multiple people have compared Parsons to Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor, but Parsons seems to not care about the comparison. Parsons even stated this to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.
Parsons stated, “I believe LT is the greatest pass rusher of all time. “My own man. I want people to be like, ‘You pass rush like Micah”
Through 13 games, Parsons has established himself as one the best pass rushers in football. Parsons is also on the verge of winning the award for defensive rookie-of-the year.
He has 75 total tackles (57 solo), 12 sacks and three forced fumbles.
One of his forced fumbles was during Sunday’s victory against the Washington Football Team. Dorance Armstrong scored a defensive touchdown after he forced Taylor Heinicke to fumble.
The Dallas defense will continue to be a formidable force for anyone who challenges it, so long as Parsons stays healthy.
