Ezekiel Elliott Announces Decision On Week 18 Game

The Dallas Cowboys are entering Week 18 with little to no hope. There has been some speculation about whether the starters of the team will be on the field.

The Cowboys’ top rusher answered clearly when asked if he would be there against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Elliott stated, according Jon Machota.

Elliott’s vow aligns with what Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones said about this week’s outlook. Dallas is determined to get the field in order before the playoffs, and will use Week 18 against the Eagles as a way to do that.

“Not at this point,” Jones said when asked if the Cowboys plan to sit starters this Saturday, per Machota. “I feel like we’ll be full-bore ready to go. … We need the momentum and work on our execution.”

Soon after Dallas’ defeat to the Arizona Cardinals, Jerry Jones had similar thoughts.

Jones stated that he wanted to see his starters play , per team reporter David Helman. It’s possible that they’re playing in Philadelphia, which is a playoff team. We must play a playoff match. This is how you get ready to go.

This week, Elliott’s status was a topic to be aware of. The Cowboys could have allowed Elliott to rest before the Wild Card round.

It seems that Elliott and Dallas are going full steam ahead.

In a primetime matchup, the Eagles and Cowboys will face off on Saturday. The Week 18 match will begin at 8:15 p.m. ET.
