Another Cowboys star joins Micah Parsons on COVID-19 list ahead of Eagles game

The Dallas Cowboys had to lose star rookie Micah Parsons on Wednesday. Now, another star left tackle Tyron Smith is joining him in Week 18 against the Philadelphia Eagles. On Thursday, cornerback Anthony Brown was also entered into COVID protocols.

It’s possible that all of these players won’t be available to the Cowboys for their regular-season finale against the Eagles. The good news? This game against the Eagles isn’t all that significant, although there could be some seeding changes this weekend.

Dallas currently ranks  currently at the No. 4 spot in NFC. This is the lowest seed they can get as the NFC East winners. There’s still a chance they move up to No. 3. Or even No.2 If they win, or get some help, 2, These scenarios may not be possible, but they are still possible. They would also need to include a Cowboys win.

The Eagles are already in the playoffs and will be either the No. The No. 6 seed or the No. 7 seed will be chosen by the Eagles. 7 seed. They are currently at No. 7 and the San Francisco 49ers are at sixth. However, this could change depending on the fate of the 49ers.

These teams may be in the playoffs, but there is still a lot at stake in Week 18. It would be nice to enter the playoffs with a positive note and some divisional bragging points. We will see what happens to these players over the next few days.
