What Mike McCarthy Reportedly Told Cowboys War Room

Mike McCarthy, Cowboys’ head coach, was reportedly a key player in team’s draft decisions.

David Helman, Cowboys.com’s director of communications, said that Dallas made a decision based on the bitter taste in his mouth after the 49ers loss to the Wild Card.

Helman says Jerry Jones said that Mike McCarthy spent a lot time in the War Room reminding people about the types of qualities that are crucial in playoff football.

Addition: “I think that the Cowboys think that San Francisco got big boy’ed them; & many of these picks want to rectify that.”

Dallas lost its home playoff match to the Niners in January, after finishing the season at 11-5.

To start the game, the Cowboys were pushed to the limits. The team was still able to tie the game. Situational football ended those chances on the last drive.

Dallas’ first pick was spent on an offensive lineman. The Cowboys hope that the rest of their picks will help them end their quarter-century drought in the Super Bowl.
