Jerry Jones Announces Cowboys Are Hosting Former All-Pro Tackle For Workout

The Dallas Cowboys have been trying to find a replacement for Tyron Smith since the injury. It appears Jerry Jones has found the ex-All-Pro that he wants to add.

On 105.3 The Fan in Dallas the Cowboys owner Jason Peters announced that ex-All-Pro left tackle Jason Peters will be in Frisco, Texas to get physicals.. He stated that he will meet with Peters today.

Peters, a nine-time Pro Bowler, and a six-time All-Pro, spent the 2021 season as a Chicago Bears player. After the season, he was a free agent and played 15 games at left tackle for Bears.

Peters is best known for his 11 seasons as a Philadelphia Eagles player. He made seven Pro Bowls during that time and was instrumental in helping the Eagles win their first Super Bowl in 2017.

Jason Peters was undrafted from Arkansas in 2004. He signed as a rookie with the Buffalo Bills. He was the team’s starting left tackle by his second year and was a Pro Bowler by 2007.

Peters was a Bills player for five years and made two Pro Bowls. He was traded to the Eagles in 2009 after he was traded. In the decade that followed, his reputation as one the NFL’s top left tackles grew.

Peters was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s All-Decade Team 2010.
