Spears was happy about the Cowboys’ purchase of Johnathan Hankins, a defensive tackle from the Las Vegas Raiders, on Tuesday. This came before their NFC East foes outperformed them.

“Howie Roseman got to be the damn Executive of the Decade,” Spears said after rubbing his head and sighing heavily. “Like, I don’t understand it, man. He did everything you needed to do this offseason — he got A.J. Brown and kept draft picks — and now you get one of the better pass-rushers.”

Spears was having fun on Twitter. He posted a photo of his exasperated response and also replied “I amn’t well lol” to a clip of NFL Live cutting, which was sent by Jeff Darlington to Spears.

The Cowboys are currently third in the NFC East, behind the 6-1 New York Giants and the 6-0 Eagles, despite a 5-2 start. The Eagles have the highest point differential in NFC.

The Cowboys will have trouble catching the Eagles, even with Dak Prescott on the field. Spears admitted that the Eagles were an elite team before Quinn was added to their roster.
