Cowboys Wide Receiver Not Practicing With Shoulder Issue

The Dallas Cowboys have added wide receiver Martavis to their practice squad at the perfect time, as one of the receivers currently on their 53-man roster has an injury.

Todd Archer of ESPN Cowboys reports that wide receiver KaVontae Turpin will not be practicing today because he has rib and shoulder issues. Turpin, the Cowboys  has not been practicing today due to a combination of shoulder and rib issues.

“KaVontae Turpin is not practicing as he deals with shoulder/rib issue. Deuce Vaughn worked as punt returner. Vaughn, Rico Dowdle and Juanyeh Thomas worked as kick returners,” Archer wrote.

Turpin has only seven catches for 69 yard, but two of them have resulted in touchdowns. Turpin has 66 more rushing yards on the ground and another touchdown in just seven carries.

Dallas Cowboys’ offense and defense are both ranked in the top 10, but neither was enough to help them beat the Philadelphia Eagles last week.

The Cowboys have three big games against the Panthers, Giants and Commanders in November, which will help them get back on track to winning the division before December.
