Cowboys Sign Former Alabama Wide Receiver To Futures Contract

The Dallas Cowboys signed many players to their Reserve/Future roster less than 24 hours after their devastating loss on Wild Card Weekend.

The Cowboys signed Isaac Alarcon, Devante Boyd linebacker, Isaac Alarcon offensive tackle, and Ian Bunting, tight end, to futures contracts.

Dallas also signed Robert Foster, a wide receiver, to a futures deal. Although the Alabama product has been a bouncer in the league the last few years, he clearly showed enough on practice squad to be eligible for a new contract.

Foster, who was undrafted in 2018, began his career with Buffalo Bills. Foster then spent a brief time with the Green Bay Packers and Washington Football Team before moving to Miami Dolphins.

Foster has now received 32 receptions for 642 yards, and three touchdowns since he joined the NFL in 2018. His most notable production was in Buffalo.

Although the Cowboys have plenty of talent at wide receiver, they may lose Cedrick Wilson and Michael Gallup in free agency. It makes sense to keep Foster, a wide receiver, for the 2022 season.
