Chiefs Announce Significant Injury News Before Kickoff

The Kansas City Chiefs get ready for one their most important non-conference matchups ever with the Dallas Cowboys at Arrowhead Stadium. They also added a significant injury to their injury roster before kickoff.

Just a few minutes ago, Chiefs announced that Tyrann Mathieu , starting safety, has been added to their injury report. Mathieu has been listed as “questionable with knee injury,” per the announcement.

Mathieu started every game except one for the Chiefs since signing with them in 2019. Mathieu has enjoyed some of the most memorable seasons of his professional career and has been an amazing playmaker for them.

Mathieu’s stats in 40 games with the Chiefs include 183 tackles and 3.0 sacks. He also has eight tackles for loss and five QB hits. In his two first years, the Chiefs defense was ranked in top half of league.

The Kansas City Chiefs defense is going to have a difficult time stopping the Dallas Cowboys, with or without Tyrann Matthewieu. Dallas’ offense is the best in the league with dominance in both running and passing.

After winning three consecutive games, the Chiefs are currently in first place in AFC West.

They need to win today if they are to maintain their lead going into Week 12.

Will we see Tyrann Matthewieu play for the Chiefs? He will make a difference in this game.
