Ben Roethlisberger Sends Clear Message About Steelers Quarterbacks

The Steelers faced the Seahawks on Saturday night to kick off their preseason schedule. Ben Roethlisberger, who has retired from the Steelers this offseason, was able to tune in.

During the game, three Steelers quarterbacks were on hand: Mason Rudolph, Kenny Pickett, and Mitchell Trubisky. Each one is competing for the job of starting quarterback.

All three of them threw touchdown passes. Pickett was the most successful statistically. The Pitt rookie completed 13 of 15 attempts, gaining 95 yards and two touchdowns by the air. He also gained 16 yards on the ground.

Big Ben was impressed by what he saw in the rookie, as well as from Rudolph and Trubisky.

“Great showing by the @steelers tonight! All 3 QBs looking good! Well done guys, fun to watch! — Ben. #HereWeGo,” said Roethlisberger.

It will be interesting to see whether Ben Roethlisberger decides to speak up and say who he thinks should play for the Steelers in the upcoming season. Although we doubt it, you just never know.

Mike Tomlin is facing a tough quarterback competition. Trubisky looks the starter, but Pickett will be the one to watch all season.

Which Steelers quarterback do you think should be starting this fall for the Steelers?
