WATCH: Wright’s timely INT leads to Grier-Fehoko TD strike for Cowboys

Although this preseason wasn’t a pleasant one for cornerback Nahshon Wright, he did finally get some redemption in the second half against the Seahawks. Although the Cowboys 2021 third round pick was criticized at times during the preseason, he ended up being the victim of Drew Lock’s errant throw. Wright’s 22-yard touchdown put the Seahawks near midfield and halted their two-minute drill.

Wright’s interception marks the Cowboys’ second win of the game. The first was by Israel Mukuamu, Cowboys safety. Wright began the big play from the outside and read Lock’s eye to guide him down to the receiver below. The Seattle quarterback didn’t see Wright.

This tookaway put the Dallas offense in a strong field position at their 31-yard line against the Seahawks. The Cowboys were facing a 13-3 deficit and took advantage of the opportunity to close that gap. Will Grier, Quarterback, started the drive with a 16 yard scramble. Simi Fehoko was wide open in front of the end zone and received a strike from him.

This is Grier’s first touchdown of the preseason, and Fehoko’s second. The Cowboys led 13-10 at halftime. They had plenty of time to play in their last preseason game.
