According to the Dallas Morning News_ Michael Gehlken Elliott, Chubb and Elliott exchanged words following the hit. The conversation was recalled by the Broncos’ linebacker.
“He said, ‘You ain’t got to do that.’ I said, ‘My bad, bro.’ You’ve got to keep ‘em up. At the end of the day, it’s all love.”
Broncos OLB Bradley Chubb delivered a strong thud on Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott in practice. They exchanged words afterward. Chubb: “He said. “You ain’t got to do that.’ I said, ‘My bad, bro.’ You’ve got to keep ‘em up.” Aggression natural. “At the end of the day, it’s all love”

In 2018, Chubb had 12 sacks, and in 2020, he had have 7.5. He tore his ACL in the first game of the 2019 season, and missed 10 games last season with an ankle injury.
Although the 26-year old is trying to find his mojo back, he may have been too aggressive in practice scrimmage.
On Saturday, the Broncos won’t have any more chances to crush Elliott. Elliott has no plans to play in preseason. He cites joint practices as a reason he can prepare properly for the season with no exhibition games.
