Video: Dak Prescott, Mike McCarthy appear onstage at Kenny Chesney concert, give away signed helmet

Dak Prescott , and Mike McCarthy love to have fun. The football field, especially when Kenny Chesney tear downs the house at AT&T Stadium.

The Cowboys duo jumped on the stage during Chesney’s Saturday performance to amaze the crowd. The country star made an appearance at the show with his star quarterback and his coach.

Although a mere appearance may have been enough, the duo brought gifts. According to Jon Machota from The Athletic the duo chose a Cowboys fan to give out signed merchandise and surprise the fan with an appearance by team legend Jason Witten.

wrote Mchota that Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott took to the stage at Kenny Chesney’s concert last night at AT&T Stadium. They chose a Cowboys fan from the crowd and signed his helmet. Jason Witten joined the group and signed the Witten jersey.

Everyone was dressed in country gear but the genius was the one who wore his Jason Witten jersey. Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy, Jason Witten, Jason Witten, and Kenny Chesney deserve special thanks for making this night memorable for all Cowboys fans.

Injuries have been an issue for Dak Prescott over the past few years. He indicated that this year could be different as he and his Dallas Cowboys teammates worked through OTAs.

Prescott sustained a serious ankle injury in 2020, and also suffered a calf injury during last season. Prescott is hopeful to return to the field in 2022, with the season approaching. During OTAs, he suggested that this was a possibility.

Prescott stated, via The Athletic’s Jon Machota, “This is my healthiest in a long, very long time.” It feels amazing.

Prescott threw for 4,449 yard and a career high 37 touchdowns last season to lead the Cowboys to a 12-5 record overall and win the NFC East title. Their season ended in the NFC Wild Card Round, where they were defeated by the San Francisco 49ers 23-17.
