Shannon Sharpe Reveals Score Prediction For Cowboys-49ers Game

There’s nobody at FOX Sports who loves seeing the Dallas Cowboys lose quite as much as Undisputed co-host Shannon Sharpe. Especially during the playoffs.

Sharpe shared his score prediction on Friday’s episode Undisputed with Skip Bayless, a diehard Cowboys fan and co-host. Sharpe predicts that San Francisco 49ers will win 27-26 at AT&T Stadium.

“You’re going to be disappointed on Monday, Skip Bayless,” Sharpe said. “And Kyle Shanahan is going to make sure of that. I expect the 49ers to be able to run the football. Niners win 27-26.”

Sharpe stated that he believes that the 49ers’ rush attack and pass rush will be key to their victory. Sharpe also promised to do “something special” on Monday for Bayless if the Cowboys lose.

The Cowboys-49ers matchup is one of the most difficult to predict. The Cowboys are a three point favorite over the 49ers according to the sports books. This is the narrowest spread of any weekend game.

It has been more than 25 years since the Cowboys faced off against the 49ers in a postseason matchup. It was the 1994 NFC Championship Game, which preceded the Niners’ Super Bowl victory. Jerry Rice and Steve Young led the charge. The Cowboys would win the Super Bowl’s most recent edition in 1994.

Dallas and San Francisco have met in the postseason seven times before, including six Conference Championship games meetings.

This Sunday, one of the most enduring postseason rivalries is renewed. We can’t wait for it to happen.
