Mike McCarthy Shares Tuesday Update On CeeDee Lamb

CeeDee Lamb, a Dallas Cowboys receiver, appears to be making some progress in his concussion recovery.

On Tuesday morning, Mike McCarthy, the head coach, spoke to the media. believes Lamb could be on practice field later.

He’s always in the meetings. McCarthy stated that he will probably be able to do some light fields work today. Source: Michael Gehlken, Dallas Morning News.

This would be huge for Dallas, as Dallas is already without Amari Cooper against Las Vegas on Thursday. He was positive for COVID-19 and must be out of the country at least 10 days.

Lamb was forced to leave Sunday’s game against Kansas City Chiefs during the second quarter. The Cowboys’ offensive problems only got worse as time went by.

In a 19-9 defeat, Dallas scored only six points in halftime. Dak Prescott struggled tremendously as he completed the game with just 216 yards of air, with no touchdowns or interceptions.

Lamb will be one step closer towards clearing the protocol if he can get on the field. Next would be to participate in a full practice, followed by being cleared by an Independent Neurological consultant assigned to the team.

At 4:30 p.m., Thanksgiving kickoff will take place ET.
