Mike McCarthy Announces Ezekiel Elliott’s Status For Vikings Game

Ezekiel Elliott will be playing against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, according to Mike McCarthy, Dallas Cowboys coach.

Star running back will return to the field after suffering a Grade 2 MCL strain in Week 7.

DeMarcus Lawrence, Anthony Barr and Anthony Smith are expected to also play against the Vikings.

Elliott was able to take a week off in Week 9 and only missed two games due to this injury. Tony Pollard, the Cowboys’ backup running back, was able to step in as their lead back in these games. He rushed for over 100 yards per game and scored four touchdowns.

The Cowboys can help Elliott get back to his full workload this weekend thanks to Pollard’s excellent performance.

This Cowboys-Vikings game is one of the most exciting games in Week 11. Minnesota is hot, with an 8-1 record after a win against the Buffalo Bills. After a disappointing overtime loss against the Packers, 6-3 Dallas hopes to rebound.

Sunday’s game starts at 4:25 pm. ET in Minnesota
