Just hours remain before the NFL schedule for the 2022 NFL Season is revealed. The Dallas Cowboys revealed their Week 1 opponent to sell tickets earlier than expected.
The Cowboys announced on Thursday that they will open their 2022 season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home. The game will take place at 8:20 p.m. ET, and will air on NBC Sunday Night Football.
This match will be a replay of the season-opener last year, in which the Cowboys traveled to Raymond James Stadium to face Tampa Bay following their Super Bowl win. Tampa Bay won that match 31-29.
The Buccaneers roster, unfortunately for the Cowboys is almost the same as it was in that game. Dallas’s roster has seen major changes.

The Dallas Cowboys won the NFC East in 2021 with a record 12-5. The NFL’s No. 1 offense. They were defeated by the San Francisco 49ers in round two.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the NFC South by winning 13-4. This was thanks to No. The NFL has the No. 2 offense. They beat the Philadelphia Eagles in playoffs, but lost to the eventual Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams during the Divisional Round.
