Jerry Jones Makes Clear Statement On Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott played his worst game so far in a crushing loss to the San Francisco 49ers during Week 5.

Prescott completed only 58.3 per cent of his passes in the 49ers’ loss. He threw 153 yards for one touchdown and three interceptions.

Cowboys’ fans weren’t expecting these numbers from their team’s star quarterback, even though he is one of the NFL’s highest-paid signal callers this year.

Prescott’s recent struggles in San Francisco has caused some to question if he is the right quarterback for Dallas to win another Super Bowl.

Jerry Jones, the Cowboys’ owner and general manger, recently tried to put some of these ideas to rest during a radio interview on a Dallas-area station.

Jones hasn’t given any indication that he is ready to replace Prescott, the Cowboys starting quarterback.

It is significant that Jones never holds back when it comes down to his opinion about the team he owns.

Dallas has won three of its five games so far this season. However, their wins came against three teams that had a combined 4-11 record.

Prescott and his Cowboys failed miserably in their big test against the 49ers last Sunday.

Dallas, with their veteran quarterback, will try to get back on track as they travel to Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night for Week 6.
