Jerry Jones Has Troubling Admission From May Car Accident

After a May car accident, Jerry Jones, Cowboys owner, was said to have been lucky enough to be able to move on with his life.

TMZ Sports obtained footage of Jones, 79, telling police that he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt when he T-boned a Hyundai in Dallas this spring. Jones also stated that he was driving at 45 MPH when the collision occurred and that the airbags on his Lexus were activated.

“You had it buckled behind you but you weren’t wearing it,” an officer said in the clip.

Jones replied, “That is correct.” Jones replied, “That is correct.”

Jones sustained only minor injuries in the accident. Jones stated that he experienced a “head bump and chest bump [and] knee lump”, but that he wasn’t in pain for long periods of time.
