Jerry Jones gives strange opinion on Dak Prescott

People who are familiar with NFL football know Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys owner, has an unusual perspective and a unique way of explaining things. It should not be surprising that Jones, the Cowboys’ owner, answered questions about Dak Prescott, his performance in the overtime loss to the Las Vegas Raiders last Thursday.

Although it may sound odd, this is what I think Dak did the other day. We didn’t hit all the right notes. Some might say that Dak was part of that, but I think that Dak played an excellent game. Jones stated that he thought he did an excellent job, especially coming back from being thwarted.

He wants more. He wants more, but it’s not a criticism. He’s a great guy. He is the best. He got us back into position despite the fact we lost the game. I believe he was the difference that made the difference in getting us back to the winning position. That’s exactly what we asked him.

The Cowboys Pro Bowl Quarterback had a lot to do against the Raiders, but he did his best to keep the Cowboys alive. Prescott was able to throw for 375 yard and two touchdowns despite not having CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper available. He also completed 32 of his 47 pass attempts.
