Four bold predictions about the 2020 Dallas Cowboys

Everyone is making predictions.

Here are just a few.

No. 1: Dak Prescott will win MVP

After playing on the franchise tag, Prescott will prove to the NFL world that he deserves a $40 million salary. Prescott threw for over 4,900 yards last season, which ranked second in the league. After 2020, Prescott will be the first Dallas Cowboys quarterback to ever throw for more than 5,000 yards and will break Tony Romo’s single-season passing record.

No. 2: La’el Collins makes the Pro Bowl

Collins has been one of the more underrated offensive tackles in the league. It seems that each year, Collins gets a little better and better. For years, Cowboys offensive lineman have represented the team at the Pro Bowl. Tyron Smith, Zack Martin, and Travis Frederick have all made appearances. With Frederick out, Collins can finally break out of the shadow.

No. 3: CeeDee Lamb does not win OROY

Maybe, this is not the best news you have read all day. With other rookies like Joe Burrow, Henry Ruggs, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire out there, Lamb is not going to get over that hump. Guys like Ruggs and Edwards-Helaire are going to have roles immediately and get more reps. Lamb has Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup taking touches away.

No. 4: Cowboys will contend for the No. 1 seed

On paper, the Cowboys roster far surpasses the Eagles, Giants, and Redskins. The Giants and Redskins do not have a seat at the table. The Eagles are always hurt and are still hurt. There are at least five wins in the division. Outside of the schedule, there are at least eight more wins. This team could easily go 13-3.
