Five bold predictions for Dallas Cowboys for 2020 season

Despite being ranked a middle-tier Super Bowl contender, the Dallas Cowboys have promise.

For that, these are the top five bold predictions for the 2020 season.

No. 1: Ezekiel Elliott will be the rushing champ

Elliott has won this award twice and should have won it three times. The Dallas Cowboys know that throwing the ball 47 times in a game does not mean a win. Dak Prescott nearly won the passing title, but the team finished 8-8. The team will get back to ground and pound and Elliott will reign supreme.

No. 2: CeeDee Lamb wins Offensive Rookie of the Year

Lamb was passed up by Henry Ruggs at No. 10 even though Lamb was once rated at the No. 4 overall prospect at one point. Michael Gallup will not produce 1,000 yards this year as teams will narrow in on him, which will leave Lamb open. Thus, Lamb will pass 800 yards and win the title.

No. 3: Leighton Vander Esch makes finals for Comeback Player of the Year

Vander Esch faced a lot of time on the bench due to injuries and surgery for his neck. He appears to be at full health. He should regain his Pro Bowl form and make a run at that honor.

No. 4: Dontari Poe kneels for all 16 games

Even though owner Jerry Jones believes the Cowboys are going to stand for the national anthem, Poe made it clear he won’t. The team will not reach a compromise and Poe will kneel all season long.

No. 5: Cowboys make the NFC Championship Game

The Cowboys will get first-year coach success even though Mike McCarthy is a tenured coach in the league. However, he is new to the Cowboys, so that means the Cowboys are going to feel the magic and make the title game for the first time since 1996.
