Ezekiel Elliott Send Message to Cowboys fans before week one VS. Buccaneers

Ezekiel Elliott is all set to begin his seventh NFL season.

The Dallas Cowboys running back revealed Wednesday his motivation for the 2022 campaign.

“I’m ready to make a run in the playoffs, I’m ready to go deep and get a shot at that Super Bowl. Focus on getting better every week, taking the right steps to get to that point, I think everything else will take care of itself,” he said per team insider Todd Archer.

Zeke ran for 1,002 yards this season and scored 10 touchdowns in 17 games. Although this was an improvement on his 2018 season, it didn’t quite reach the same level as his rookie season of 2015.

Elliott must perform at his best if he wants to help the Cowboys achieve their Super Bowl goals. He ran for just 31 yards in the 49ers’ Wild Ward defeat this season.

The Cowboys’ 2022 season will begin with a Week 1 matchup against Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
