Eagles Are Reportedly Cutting Notable Wide Receiver

A former Oregon wide receiver and track star from the United States, made a lasting impression on the Philadelphia Eagles in this summer.

Allen was not able to make Philly’s initial 53 man roster. According to Matt Lombardo of Heavy.com, the Eagles will release the speedster.

According to NBC Sports Philly , Allen, who played last football at Oregon in 2016, was “lost” at training camp.

His play improved as the summer progressed. Two-time Olympic finalist in 110-meter hurdles won a 55-yard touchdown against Cleveland Browns. He then made an impact on special team against the Miami Dolphins.

If Allen has been sufficiently intriguing the Eagles over the past few weeks, Allen looks like a great candidate to be added as a practice squad member, unless another team takes him off waivers.

Today is a busy day for the NFL. Teams must complete their initial 53-man rosters by 4 p.m. ET. ET. We’ll keep our readers informed as more roster changes are made around the league.
