Dan Quinn details challenges facing Cowboys for 49ers matchup

The Dallas Cowboys defense and Dan Quinn have been among the most dominant in the NFL.

Quinn worked his magic immediately. Quinn deserves all the praise he gets as the Cowboys defense is one reason the team is a contender in the NFC.

Dan Quinn and his defense will face Kyle Shanahan in the NFL Wildcard set. San Francisco has a unique zone running scheme, which is different from the traditional high-powered offenses where the quarterback is the center point.

Jon Machota asked Shanahan specifically about his offensive prowess, and what the test would bring. The Dallas Cowboys’ defensive Coordinator gave an honest, concise answer.

He’s tough, he’s tough, and he knows how he attacks. He is a true field attacker. We’re looking forward to a difficult matchup. It will not be easy.

Tom Pelissero from the NFL Network reports that the Miami Dolphins are looking to hire one of the most sought-after head coaches in the NFL.

Quinn is currently getting ready to take on the San Francisco 49ers during the Wild Card round in the NFC playoffs. Quinn has been an integral part of turning one of the worst defenses in the history of the franchise into one of Dallas’ best reasons to play January football.

After the departure of Brian Flores, Miami is searching for a new head coach. Dan Quinn might be a good fit. However, he led the Dolphins in back-to-back wins for the first time since 18 years. However, problems within the organization forced Stephen Ross deciding to move on from Flores.

Quinn has been requested by the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Denver Broncos and the Chicago Bears to be interviewed. He insists that he will be focusing on San Francisco this weekend for the playoff game.

“I’m not trying avoid it or be coy. Quinn stated that there is simply nothing to report from my side. It’s hard for the coaches, their families, and everyone involved in that when there are job changes. It’s great to hear from someone interested. It’s not lost on us. It wasn’t an easy season in 2020, but that doesn’t mean it was not for me.

“But there’s really nothing to add on my end. There’s not a lot of time management or anything that has to go into mind other than just kicking ass and being right where my feet are. Hopefully, we can just talk Niners today because that’s really where my heart and my head are moving forward.”
