Dak Prescott Sends Clear Message Ahead Of 2022 Season

Dak Prescott spent 2021 rehabbing an ankle injury that ended his 2020 campaign.

He’s fully fit for the Cowboys’ offseason program this year.

Prescott updated the media on his confidence going into the 2022 NFL season during his mandatory minicamp practice on Tuesday.

“I think I’m so much further along than I was at this time last year. My confidence is through the roof,” he said, per Cowboys insider Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Prescott is now more confident in his ankle and the Cowboys will be using him in the running game more this season.

Prescott stated that he is “definitely” the leanest man he has ever been since “dropping off baby fat” this season.

“Take a look at his body. Mike McCarthy, head coach, said that he is clearly different from last year. “He’s more flexible, leaner and just the mechanics to be able really get after the mechanics.

Prescott ended the 2021 season with an 11-5 record, 4,449 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He was second in the Comeback Player of Year voting, behind Joe Burrow.

This Dallas veteran will try to get back to Pro-Bowl-level play in the coming season.
