Dak Prescott fires stern message at Cowboys’ future playoff opponent

The Dallas Cowboys fell just short against Kyler Murray and Arizona Cardinals, but that doesn’t bother Dak Prescott.

“Whoever it is (we face in the playoffs), line em up,” said Dak Prescott. “I have a lot of confidence in this team.”

That team could very well be these same Cardinals. Arizona finished the game with a record of 11-5 against the Cowboys. This matches them as rivals if they were to compete in the postseason.

Prescott was asked about the possibility of a rematch with Kyler Murray and his Cards team. Prescott, Cowboys’ quarterback, was open to the idea of taking revenge on the team who just lost their four-game winning streak.

“I mean for sure,” Prescott continued. “I mean to get to where we go we’ve got to play the best. Obviously this team right here gave us their best shot and we came up three points short. If we start this tournament off against them we’re excited.”

Perhaps the Cowboys are better off deferring homecourt advantage if they ever matchup. Kyler Murray is 9-0 at AT&T Stadium. This goes back to his time as a Texas high school prospect at Allen High School.
