Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb’s cryptic response on what caused foot injury scare

On Wednesday, the Dallas Cowboys were in trouble when CeeDee lamb , a Pro Bowl wide receiver showed up to training camp wearing only sweatpants. Later, it was revealed that Lamb had a minor injury to his foot. The Cowboys escaped a bullet. Clarence Hill Jr., Cowboys writer, reportedly spoke to Lamb after practice and inquired about the injury.

Lamb seemed to be very careful in his words.

Hill Jr. was told by Lamb that he had cut his foot and needed stitches. He didn’t tell Hill Jr. how he had cut his foot, but he said that it was “clown stuff”.

As it is possible that the injury could have occurred in many different ways, there is no reason to speculate. Important is that the injury to Lamb is not severe and Lamb can be fully expected to return for the regular season.

Amari Cooper, a former Pro Bowl receiver for the Cowboys, was released by the team in free agency. Cooper signed with Cleveland Browns, where he hopes to regain his status of a top receiver. After a breakout season, Lamb was able to surpass Cooper on the depth charts.

CeeDee Lamb had 79 catch for more than 1,100 yards and six touchdowns. These numbers are expected to rise without Cooper’s participation in the offense. Michael Gallup is still healing from the torn ACL he sustained last season. James Washingon, a veteran wide receiver, was injured during training camp. As wide receiver targets, Lamb is left with Noah Brown and Jalen Tolbert.

The Cowboys want to be the first team to win consecutive NFC East titles since 2003 and 2004.
