The team is now scrambling for a replacement for Smith’s offensive line.

Many Cowboys fans hoped that Andrew Whitworth, a veteran lineman, would be signed. These rumors were further fueled by Whitworth’s comments on television. According to Whitworth, however, his comments about TV were misinterpreted. This is more likely to mean that Big Whit won’t be going to Dallas.
In 2022, the Cowboys experienced one of their most forgettable offseasons. They lost Amari Cooper, Randy Gregory and other key players. They didn’t sign any big-name players, like their peers in the league. They seem to be feeling the effects of their offseason.
Without one of their top players, how will the Cowboys continue their season? They are very talented in the skill positions as well as on defense. Dak Prescott may have to play under more pressure this season without Smith.
