Cowboys Make Official Decision On Quarterback Dak Prescott

Dak Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys’ Pro Bowl quarterback, has not been on the field in over a month. Will he be back on Sunday?

The Cowboys took Dak off their injury report on Friday. After surgery, he had been suffering from a hand injury since more than a month.

Dak was removed from the injury list, meaning that he is now eligible to play in Week 7 against Detroit Lions. After backup Cooper Rush’s loss against the Philadelphia Eagles, no one can argue that he should be allowed to return to the starting lineup.

However, that doesn’t mean Dak hasn’t put his best foot forward for his 2022 season. Before his injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he was 14-of-29 for 134 yards with an interception.

The Cowboys’ defense was surprisingly strong and they were able to win four consecutive wins before losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6.

The Cowboys’ defense is so strong that they don’t need Dak to do the heavy lifting week after week to win games. They could win more games if he does.
