Cowboys Lose Out On Another Top Free Agent Target

The Dallas Cowboys believed that theĀ  pass rusher Randy Gregory was returning to the cowboys with a new deal earlier this week.

Gregory and his agent opted to sign a deal with the Denver Broncos. Cowboys fans were really angry after they lost their star pass rusher.

The Cowboys aren’t able to attract any free agents pass rushers now that the hours of free agency are over. The team witnessed as Za’Darius Smith and Chandler Jones opted for other teams on Wednesday.

Jon Machota, a Cowboys insider, pointed out that pass rusher markets are drying up.

He tweeted, “The top edge rushers who are free agents are finding new teams quickly: Chandler Jones to Raiders; Randy Gregory to Broncos; Za’Darius Smith and the Ravens.” “Best available: Von Miller, Jadeveon Clowney.”

Miller is being pursued by the Cowboys, but Miller reportedly intends to sign with the Los Angeles Rams. Dallas will lose Jadeveon Crowney as the top pass rusher in the market if that happens.

This would be far from Randy Gregory signing a five-year contract.

Can the Cowboys pull off an amazing free agency feat? We’ll find the answer.
