Cowboys linebacker named NFC defensive player of the week

 Cowboys’ rookie linebacker, has some impressive stats in his NFL career.

He was there in Sunday’s win over the Vikings, and he has been awarded NFC defensive player award for his performance.

Parsons had 11 total tackles and four tackles for loss. He also had a touchdown pass in Dallas’ win. Parsons was present for 97 percent Cowboys’ defensive snaps.

 

Parsons has now recorded 42 total tackles. He also has seven TFLs and 2.5 sacks. Parsons also had 11 quarterback hits and two pass breakups. The defense has seen a major boost from the rookie from Penn State, which is why Dallas has a record of 6-1 entering Week Nine.

 

Parsons will continue to make big plays at home against the Broncos this weekend.
