BREAKING: Cowboys Announce Notable Loss For Thursday Night’s Game

Next Thursday’s game against New Orleans Saints will witness the Cowboys lose another player.

Dallas announced Sunday morning that Terence Steele, starting right tackle, was added to the COVID-19 Reserve List.

This season, Steele has been consistent for Dallas. Steele has played 714 offensive plays and only allowed two sacks. He has also only taken seven penalties.

He has also played in 10 of the 11 games this season. Steele’s replacement, La’el Collins, will likely be La’el Collins’s start, particularly with Tyron Smith on the opposite side.

Dallas will be without its offensive line coach Joe Philbin, who was positive for COVID-19 last week. The Saints game will also be without Jeff Blasko and Scott Tolzien, offensive assistant coaches.

After starting the season 7-2, the Cowboys have now lost two consecutive games. The Cowboys lost 10 to the Chiefs Nov. 21. They then lost 36 to 33 to the Raiders in overtime on Thanksgiving.

There is a silver lining to this story: Dallas hopes to get back CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper.

Cooper, if his symptoms have resolved, will be eligible for the COVID List. Lamb will also be eligible for the COVID List.

Kickoff will take place at 8:20 p.m. ET.
