Jerry Jones Send An Honest Message About Cowboys Players

The Dallas Cowboys spent the majority of their offseason trying to get below the salary cap. This has led to some key losses and not many major upgrades.

Dallas traded Amari Cooper, a star wide receiver, to the Cleveland Browns. Randy Gregory changed his mind and signed with the Denver Broncos. The Miami Dolphins also signed Cedrick Wilson Jr. wideout and Connor Williams, guard.

Jerry Jones believes his team is strong. The Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, stated that his team is similar to the one that won the NFC East last year during Tuesday’s media availability via Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Jones stated, “I believe we can very easily reach the same talent level as last year.”

He believes that the Cowboys will be able to return to the playoffs without missing a beat.

“I think we can very easily be where we were last year talent-wise,” Jones said.

Despite losing key players like Carlos Watkins, Dalton Schultz and Michael Gallup in the offseason, Dallas managed to keep them all. Jones has nine draft picks this week to add to his roster.

Cooper will be difficult to replace but the Cowboys look like they are a front-runner for the division, behind a healthy Dak Prescott in 2022. Jones would be disappointed if they get as far this season as they did in 2022. The San Francisco 49ers defeated Dallas in the first round.
