Maybe the bold bet between Dallas Cowboys’ offense and defense has finally motivated Dak Preston. It could be the only rational explanation for Dak Prescott’s bizarre and historic pass display against the Washington Football Team in week 16.
ESPN Stats & Info says that Prescott is the NFL’s first ever player to pass a touchdown to a wide receiver, running back, tight end, or offensive lineman in a single regular season game.
The Cowboys started hot, scoring 42 points to Washington’s seven in the first half.

NFL Research noted that Dak Prescott isn’t the only one to do this in any particular game. Kurt Wagner, a former star of the St. Louis Rams, did it in 1999’s Divisional Round against Minnesota Vikings.

The Cowboys won the game 56-14. It seems that Dak Prescott is ready for playoff football.
Prescott’s erratic play has been widely criticised in recent years. The Cowboys defense would have prevented the team from losing in four more games. Dak had only thrown three touchdown passes in the three previous contests before Sunday’s Week 16.
He finished against Washington with four touchdowns, on 28-of 39 passing for 330 yard.
Prescott chose the right time to wake up. With the way Prescott is playing, it’s a good sign for the rest of the NFL.
