The Dallas Cowboys expect to be able to return from major injuries in their Thanksgiving Day match against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Stephen Jones, Cowboys Vice President, appeared today on 105.3 The Fan and gave an update on All-Pro offensive tackle Tyron Smith. Smith was injured in the ankle and has been unable to play in the last three games.
Jones claims Smith will be in the lineup for Thursday’s start, “barring any unforeseen setbacks this week.”
The Cowboys expect LT Tyron Smith (ankle) to play against the Raiders.

They do not think this is the type of injury that will linger all season.

Smith’s return will make the Cowboys a much better team. Smith was a seven-time Pro Bowler from 2013-19, and earned All-Pro honors two times.
Although it appears that Dallas will have Smith available to play against Las Vegas, Amari Cooper, a star wide receiver, is not. Cooper is currently on COVID-19 Reserve; he did not play yesterday and will not be eligible for the list after Thursday.
CeeDee Lamb (the Cowboys’ standout receiver) was concussed after Sunday’s defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs. Jones stated that he was “doing really good”, but it doesn’t mean Lamb will be able to play on Thursday.
