Cowboys Wide Receiver Underwent Surgery Thursday

On Thursday, a Dallas Cowboys wide receiver had a surgery.

Michael Gallup sustained a torn ACL after he was hit with a touchdown catch during the regular season. Although the Cowboys wide receiver was able to wait a while before going under anesthesia, it took him a while.

According to reports, the soon-to be free agent wide receiver will undergo surgery for his torn ACL injury Thursday.

Gallup, 25, caught 35 passes for 442 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 2021 season. He suffered multiple injuries throughout the season, including a calf strain in the beginning of the year.

Gallup, when healthy, has been a reliable No. 2, or 3. For a skilled passing attack, there are three options.

It will be fascinating to see how Gallup’s injury, and recovery, affect his free agency.
