Ezekiel Elliott Shares Encouraging News On His Knee Injury

Ezekiel Elliott’s health will be crucial to the Cowboys’ success in this postseason. On Wednesday, Dallas’ star running back said that his knee was feeling good ahead of Sunday’s match against the 49ers.

“I feel really good,” Elliott explained. “Knee feels solid. Not getting any stiffness in it any more.”

Jon Machota, Cowboys reporter, stated that Zeke said he no longer needs the knee brace but will continue to wear it as an extra measure of stability.

While recovering from a knee injury, the former Pro Bowl RB participated in all 17 games. Ezekiel Elliott returned to the 1,000-yard rusher club in 2021, but with an additional game.

Although Zeke is no longer Dallas’ bell cow, he is still a key part of the Cowboys’ running game. When he’s on the field, offense is at its best.

Elliott threw the rock 237 times in 2016 for 1,002 yards, and 10 touchdowns. This is only his second consecutive double-digit TD season, since 2016 when he was a rookie.

Dallas will need Zeke’s forward support against a physical Niners team. San Francisco made it into the playoffs with a narrow overtime win against Rams. They’re now one of the most dangerous teams in the world, having made it to the dance.
