Cowboys Make Telling Decision On Wide Receiver Michael Gallup

Since the 2021 season, Michael Gallup hasn’t played for the Dallas Cowboys. However, it seems that he will be back on the gridiron against the Washington Commanders this Sunday.

The Cowboys released their final injury report for Week 4 just moments ago. Gallup was not included in the injury report.

Gallup has had a full practice week so it’s safe to say that he is on track for his 2022 season debut.

Gallup was scheduled to play Monday against the New York Giants. He said he didn’t dress up because he wasn’t feeling right.

Gallup was optimistic when asked if he would play this week.

“I hope so. It’s been a while,” Gallup said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic. “Just have another good week, see what it feels like.”

Gallup, when healthy, is a flashy playmaker. He had 66 receptions, 1,107 yards, and six touchdowns in 2019.

Gallup was signed to a $62.5 million, five-year extension by the Cowboys. It’s now that he can prove the front office wrong.

The Cowboys should expect Gallup to give them a tremendous boost in their passing game.
